As a partner that’s been deeply involved with Epicor Prophet 21 (P21) over the past two years, we are genuinely excited to see Epicor’s recent announcement: Prophet 21 Cloud ERP is officially expanding into Australia and New Zealand (ANZ), with a regionally localized version rolling out this year.
This isn’t just another software update, it’s a major step forward for mid-market distributors in ANZ, and Yoma, it aligns perfectly with where we’re heading.
We’ve been working with Prophet 21 extensively across our client base. It’s been the most frequent ERP system we’ve integrated with over the last two years, and we’ve developed a deep understanding of both its capabilities and its limitations.
What makes this announcement even more relevant is that we’ve recently expanded our team in the ANZ region. Having a local presence has been a key strategic move for us, and this new version of Prophet 21 gives us a great opportunity to offer even more targeted support to our clients in Australia and New Zealand.
Epicor is introducing country-specific functionality (CSF) to meet ANZ’s unique business and compliance needs. Some of the features we’re most excited about include:
These updates mean ANZ businesses won’t have to rely on workarounds or customizations to meet local requirements, it’ll be built in from day one.
P21 is a distribution focused solution tailored to meet the needs of Move and Sell organisations. Those organisations are typically actively engaged in ecommerce and are looking to develop and grow their presence. This is where Epicor Commerce can meet an organisation’s needs.

And because we now have staff based in ANZ, we can offer on-the-ground support with the local context and time zone alignment that clients often need.
Epicor’s move into ANZ with Prophet 21 isn’t just good news for us, it’s great news for distributors across the region. With more than two-thirds of companies expected to move off legacy ERPs by 2028, and a strong appetite for cloud-based, AI-enabled platforms, the timing couldn’t be better.
We’re looking forward to supporting our clients with their ecommerce needs throughout, whether they’re considering a move to Prophet 21 for the first time or want to make the most of the new ANZ capabilities.
If you’re in the distribution space and thinking about your next ERP integration, feel free to reach out. We’d love to talk through how Yoma can help you take full advantage of what Epicor Commerce has to offer, especially now that it will ready for the business needs of the ANZ region.
